A five minute film for Kew Gardens‘ project to collect and protect the wild relatives of domesticated crops. Crop wild relatives are often hardier than domesticated crops, with resilience to pests, diseases and harsh environmental conditions. Conservation of these varieties will help to ensure our future food security.
The film aims to educate and inspire, by exploring the origins of some popular crops and herbs in their native environment. It was filmed in Israel. I edited, graded and provided the voice over for this film.
